“You can’t use up creativity.  The more you use, the more you have.”  Maya Angelou

Our weekly Nexus women’s group will continue from Tuesday 11 January 2022, generously funded through Awards for All. Each week there’s a different creative activity to explore and we’ll be planning for an event to celebrate International Women’s Day on Tuesday 8 March.

During January, unless we hear otherwise, we can continue to meet at the Buckland URC venue, taking sensible precautions through wearing masks and social distancing. Joining the group via Zoom remains an option for anyone who prefers this.

So far our programme looks like this …

11 January – pen and ink session with Claire
18 January – jewelry making with Carolyn
25 January – international craft – tbc
1 February – Chinese New Year activity
8 February – music and singing with Janet
15 February – macrame with Alice
22 February – macrame with Alice
1 March – final preparations for event
8 March – International Women’s Day event

The weekly Nexus sessions are all held at the Buckland United Reformed Church, 174 Kingston Rd, Fratton, PO2 7LP, from 11am to 12.30pm.
