For 2022 the campaign theme for International Women’s Day is: #BreakTheBias

Imagine a gender equal world.

A world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination.

A world that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive.

A world where difference is valued and celebrated.

Together we can forge women’s equality.

Collectively we can all #BreakTheBias.

Here at the Good Mental Health Coop, our Nexus Women’s Group has been planning an event to celebrate International Women’s Day, and we’d love you to join us.

There’ll be stalls with information and support, opportunities to chat and find out about women’s activities in the city, have a cuppa or lunch in the community cafe, and you can join in one or all of the creative activity sessions:

11.15am Janet Ayers will lead a music making and singing session

1.00pm Join Mandie Molyneux from Art Space for a gentle fun introduction to Charcoal and colour mixing Chalk Pastels

2.15pm Paint your own pebble with guidance from Claire Holloway
