Creativity and wellbeing for women

“Why should we all use our creative power……?  Because there is nothing that makes people so generous, joyful, lively, bold and compassionate, so indifferent to fighting and the accumulation of objects and money”
Brenda Ueland.

The Nexus Project is a new creative and wellbeing group for women, set up in partnership with the Independence and Wellbeing Team at Portsmouth City Council, and funded through the Tampon Tax Fund.

With fortnightly live Zoom group sessions, this is a safe space for women to try out simple creative activities using materials you can easily source from the home or outdoors. Enjoy the experience of connecting with others through the live group session, take part in a guided creative activity and boost your sense of wellbeing.

In July, we’ll be moving the sessions to the Buckland United Reformed Church on London Road, Portsmouth, but we’re keen to retain the zoom link so members are still able to participate virtually.
