Lived Experience Conference in Southampton

Soton UniOn Thursday 25 February, the Health Sciences Faculty at the University of Southampton is hosting a day long conference organised by their Lived Experience Reference Group. Although this is primarily for students studying to become healthcare professionals, the conference is also open to the public.

The day features workshops about lived experience of mental ill-health, recovery communities, service user research, and a therapeutic model in acute mental health services. There’s also a Zappers Theatre production looking at post-natal depression, and we will be offering the Human Library experience all through the day.

If you’re interested in coming along, please contact Sandy Walker via  S.C.Walker@soton.ac.uk
